Ambergris Cay Chronicles: “November Wahoo and Bones Galore”
One of the many things that I love about Ambergris Cay is that you can experience both epic flats fishing and offshore big game fishing in the same day. I had the pleasure of being joined by Trent Malphrus, a professional fisherman and best friend, last week. Trent had an incredible morning fly-fishing session, catching 14 bonefish before 11 am. After lunch, an all-time crew that included Fuzzy Davis, Martie Doverspike, Raz Reid, and Chef Bernie joined us. We went three for five on wahoo including one that was at least 115 lbs and a few big dolphin. We concluded our day with the freshest sunset sashimi right on the dock. Hope you can join us soon!
